Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia,
Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia,
Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Vatican City.
All of Western Europe is covered with the 2017/2018 version!
The navigation in version 2017/2018 knows almost 8.5 million kilometers of road Europe-wide.
In Eastern Europe, all countries except Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Macedonia are fully covered.
In the following countries, the coverage of the detailed road network has been extended:
• Albania: + 71 percent
• Bosnia-Herzegovina: + 77 percent
• Bulgaria: + 14 percent
• Macedonia: + 77 percent
• Serbia: + 10 percent
With the 2017/2018 version almost 800,000 cities and towns are to be controlled.
Accurate navigation to the desired house number extended:
While house numbers in Western and Northern European countries are mostly completely covered,
the coverage could be improved in the following countries:
• Czech Republic: + 56 percent
• Poland: + 1 percent
• Serbia: + 1 percent
• Slovak Republic: + 43 percent
Points of Interest (POI) - POIs:
Nearly 2.6 million particularly important destinations are included on the DVD, for example petrol stations, parking lots,
Restaurants and hospitals. Please note that for data capacity reasons unfortunately 11 POI categories had to be removed.
Despite this measure, more than 170,000 POIs are now available compared to the old version.
In addition, if requested, the navigation also shows the fastest route to 2,963 Mercedes-Benz service partners.
Alone 52,318 sights and 48,717 hotels have been added in the new version 2017/2018.
Dynamic route guidance based on current traffic data (TMC / RDS):
Based on the data of the traffic message channel, the navigation takes into account current traffic warnings for motorways and automatically calculates diversions.
This convenient service is now available in 14 countries, which have been updated for this version 7:
Updates in the road network:
Map updates include millions of changes, such as new roads, intersections, bypasses, junctions and motorway exits and exits.
