Eaton Service Ranger 4.2 Error - Savior2064 - 05-29-2025
I've installed service ranger 4.2 a few times on some of my computers successfully but this one computer that I'm trying to install it on for the past couple of days gives me an error that I need to connect to the internet to register the product.
Steps I've taken
1. Clean install of windows multiple times of versio 1607 and other version.
2. Made sure replaced files and installed database correctly with admin permissions
3. Used windows 7 to get serials
4. Installed it on another computer with out a problem
5. Ran the program and installed in windows 7 compatability mode.
6. Put links into host file to block
7. Disabled and enable internet while trying to activate.
8. Tried dozens of different serials
9. Made sure hash key was the windows 10 computer
Not sure what else I can do to get it to activate on this one computer or if I'm missing something.
Can some one please help me out or suggest something or if I'm missing an extra step.

I have heard of people running into problems when trying to install it on Microsoft Surface products and Panasonic Toughbook cf-33 and other tablet like computers not sure if that's the issue here but just throwing that out there!! Good luck Friend!!!

No it's an Hp elitebook. I have another unit the same and am able to install it on that one.

Figured it out. Did a clean install with one of the first windows 10 version. I was even able to run the keygen on windows 10 with out a win7 computer.

Do a clean install of windows 10 but without updating any of it then install service ranger 4.2 run the keygen and confirm it works after service ranger is loading correctly you can update windows and it will still work friend.
