If after installation the problem occurs, the VCI is not recognized or only partially...check
1. PC cable not properly connected to the tester.
2. Power cable is not connected to tester
3. Incorrect Com Port selected

1. lookup whether the inserted VCI  VCI has been recognized under a Comport - yes - com port select, if not please reinstall drivers. (Control Panel)
2. OBD connector from VCi not connected to the vehicle, no power supply 12V for VCI.
3. Wrong ID at the beginning of the installation: for example. for CDP rather than A-710-479 was a CDP-710-142 for CDP + then input comes the mistake is not recognized.
4. Incorrect serial number for the VCI. Change the VCI serial and HW Key in the installations.xlm make new activation and VCI run fine.
5. USB cable is defective, broken, or cross-section of cable too small, take thicker USB cable.
6. Firmware broken: re-record with Flash loader demonstrator.
7. VCI has polluted or cold solder joints, take the VCI apart and solder / clean.

Message "Communication Error vehicle is not responding"
USB jack soldered incorrectly. 12V not okay. If the VCI has 2 boards then they are not put together correctly..check.
Message: "Unknown Serial Number Please check whether the installed version for their VCI-type is valid"
Incorrect Main.exe copied / installed,  patch "Main.exe" copy back into the installation directory

Important for Windows 64-bit versions:
If you have a 64 bit Windows system on the computer then you have after installing the Delphi folder or Autocom in the following directory copying: C: / Program Files (x86) then the program will run without any problems. If this is not done has to when every time you start over again the first configuration screen.
If the Delphi / Autocom folder in the directory C: / Program Files (x86) has been moved then just a new shortcut on the desktop to create and launch.

After installing the error comes:

"Installation of product ducuments failed! The installation will quit"
"dotnetfx 4.0" installed ... With this version definitely takes the above-mentioned error during installation.
"dotnetfx3.5" install and the installation is running.

Have you this error see Image 1... so the folder is read-only, or Hidden. The ProgramData Folder is Hidden so it cant run.

Old CDP and Delphi DS150 SERIAL Changer for VCI serial number with 5 digits to change the serial

VCIs Autocom and Delphi...like CDPs DS150

No Work on BMW or Trucks replace the two diode... number: D701 + D703 (pictured 1) put in place : sillicium universale diode 1N4148 to work on BMW...Picture

1. If the problem occurs, VCI is not responding....make
USB jack soldered incorrectly. 12V not okay. If the VCI has 2 boards then they are not put together correctly..check.
Resolder selected locations red market and clean.... Picture
2. If the problem occurs, VCI is no LED on Power....check

If already is a version of Autocom / Delphi on the computer, we have to first completely erase otherwise the installation is not working properly ...... ..
Proceed according to the following instructions:

Delete the following folder:
System Windows XP

C:\Programs\Autocom
C:\Programs\Delphi
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autocom
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Delphi
C:\Documents and Settings\**USER**\Application Data\Autocom
C:\Documents and Settings\**USER**\Application Data\Delphi
C:\Documents and Settings\**USER**\Application Data\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Application Data\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My

WINDOWS 7 & 8:
C:\Programsx86\Autocom
C:\Programsx86\Delphi
C:\users\**USER**\AppData\Roaming\Delphi
C:\users\**USER**\AppData\Roaming\Autocom
C:\users\**USER**\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My
OTHER OS:
Look similar folders.

Edit with Notepad:

Run CCleaner and clean the registry
Restart your computer
Install new version

Time an addendum because again and again questions arise because of the Firmware in different versions.
Example Firmware Version 1430.

When using the VCI..CDP CDP+ Delphi DS150 Delphi DS150E with Autocom 2014.3 Delphi 2014.3 and WOW 5.00.8R2 on the same PC and same VCI.
Install the Version you need… copied the firmware folder of WOW 5008R2 in the firmware folder Autocom 2014.3 and firmware folder Delphi 2014.3
Now all versions have the firmware 1430. WOW 5.00.8R2 started and made the firmware update you VCI with WOW, now run the versions:  Autocom 2014.3, 2014.3 and Delphi WOW 5.00.8 with the same VCI and the same firmware 1430.
Attention:  Firmware update only with WOW not with Autocom or Delphi. WOW has more file to copy to the VCI

Firmware WOW is in the following folder if on C: installed
c:\ Program Files\wow\ac_diagnosis_module\firmware\

Firmware Autocom
c:\ Program Files\ Autocom\ Cars CDP+\firmware\

Firmware Delphi
c:\ Program Files\ Delphi Diagnostics\ DS150E (New VCI) \firmware\
