Anyone pulled apart an MX13 ecm? - cows19 - 07-22-2021
Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone has struggled through opening one of these bastards up.
I have the seal around the edges broken OK, but the connectors appear to be glued in, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to safely detach them. Anyone have any advice?
I've tried heating the entire unit to 175F (unsure what plastic the connectors are made up, so I'm hesitant to go much higher), I've tried cutting the adhesive from the top by wedging a feeler gauge into the crack and moving it around the edges, and I've tried leaving something wedged in the case to apply a constant pressure. I haven't made any headway.
Any ideas?
