FREE - Newest version of PCM Hammer for GM PCMs - darkman5001 - 05-15-2022
PCM Hammer is a software tool that allows you to use a J2534 Pass-Thru device to flash GM PCMs for various GM engines. It supports the vehicles listed below and can also be used to read and write to any one of the PCMs used in the vehicles below used in a hot rod or other application.
We are also developing a tuning program called Universal Patcher, which can currently already fully tune and calibrate all LS-based PCMs that PCM Hammer can read and write.
The latest version of Universal Patcher is also available for download.
Both of these programs are FREE, and open-source. If you have an idea how we can improve it, or you and to help with development, contact us at the web site in the attached file. They are in constant development to make them better and help the auto community and enthusiasts.
Those who use PCM Hammer to do FULL PCM reads, I ask you to please send me your .bin so that I can pass along to the developers on Universal Patcher to analyze to build memory mapping files so the tuner can become better and support more PCMs.
I am not the programmer of these programs. I simply provide PCM circuit analysis and bench testing of the PCMs and software. I take no credit for the amazing programming of these programs, just the pride in knowing I helped with development.
